Embassy of the State of Palestine in South Africa, welcomes Mona Miari.

The Embassy of the State of Palestine in South Africa, and Ambassador Hanan Jarrar extended an invitation and welcomed Palestinian artist Mona Miari at the embassy in Pretoria, to be recognized for representing Palestine at the Global Artivism cultural festival and conference in Sep, 2024, In Pretoria, South Africa.

Mona was invited to perform at the festival that was held under the theme: Embracing Cultural Activism for a Safe and Just World, which took place CSIR International Convention Centre.

H.E. Ambassador Hanan Jarrar, along with Ms. Diana Rhumi, welcomed Mona to the Embassy.
In the meeting, they discussed the powerful role of art in fostering dialogue and change, and how Mona’s work embodies the spirit of cultural activism.
